Inaugural Season to Begin Sunday, March 22, 2026!

The inaugural season of the East Bay Team Pickleball League will begin Sunday, March 22, 2026. Matches will be held on Sundays between the hours of 10 am and 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm and 3 pm at Ocean View Park in Albany or between the hours of 12:30 pm and 3 pm or 3 pm and 5:30 pm at Castro Park in El Cerrito.

Castro Park has scheduled Open Play Sunday mornings. That's why we can't have the morning time slot there like we do at Ocean View.

Signups for the regular season have been completed. Eighteen teams will be competing in one of three divisions: DUPR 12 Open, DUPR 12 50+, and DUPR 14 Open.

The DUPR 12 Open and DUPR 12 50+ divisions have 5 teams each. With an odd number of teams, each team in these two divisions will have a "bye" week during the first five weeks of the regular season (3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12, and 4/19). All 5 teams will compete in a Champtionship tournament on the sixth Sunday, April 26. The full schedule with designated bye weeks for each team will be available here on communitypickleball.org shortly.

The DUPR 14 Open division has 8 teams. The 8 teams have been divided into two balanced brackets, Bracket A and Bracket B. Over the six weeks of the regular season, each team will play every other team in its bracket twice. A postseason Playoff/Championship tournament will be held a week or two after the end of the regular season. Details forthcoming.
